Auburn Hills

Farmington Hills

Holly
• Eggnormous Helicopter Hunt egg drop is April 19, at The River Church locations with Oakland County locations in Holly, Orion Twp. and Waterford Twp., ages 11 and younger, (in age groups), register for a time slot ticket and location at theriverchurch.cc/easter, free.
Highland Twp.
• Huron Valley Easter Egg Hunt is 10 a.m.-noon, April 12, at Duck Lake Pines Park, 999 Duck Lake Road, Highland Twp., free event for children ages 2-10, visits with Easter Bunny, www.facebook.com/hvchamber.
Novi

Orion Twp.
• Wonderland Lantern Stroll is evenings, Friday-Sunday, through April 27, (also April 17), at Canterbury Village, 2325 Joslyn Road, Orion Twp., European-style lantern festival featuring huge glowing lanterns inspired by the classic tale, “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland,” advance registration required, www.canterburyvillage.com, $19.99+.
• Annual Easter Eggstravaganza is April 12-13 and April 18-19, at Canterbury Village in Orion Twp., featuring helicopter plastic egg drops on the field next to the village. Other activities include Easter Bunny visits, games and a petting zoo. Rochester/Rochester Hills
• The Village of Rochester Hills Shopping Center to host free Easter Bunny visits for children, noon-6 p.m. April 5-6, April 12-13 and April 18-19, closed on Easter Sunday, at 104 N. Adams Road, Rochester Hills. The Easter Bunny will be stationed at The Gazebo in Festival Park and guests can bring cameras to take photos, also free petting farm with baby chicks, baby goats, and ducks, www.TheVOHR.com. • Rochester Avon Recreation Authority Annual Easter Egg Hunt, crafts, and take photos with Easter Bunny, is April 12 at the indoor turf field house, RARA Fieldhouse, 500 E 2nd St., Rochester, $8 per child residents, $9 for non-residents. Royal Oak
• Bunnyville at the Zoo is 9 a.m.-3 p.m. April 18-19, at Detroit Zoo, 8450 W 10 Mile Road, Royal Oak, Easter Bunny photo opportunities, live entertainment, whisker painting, timed tickets at https://detroitzoo.org. general admission-$27, parking is $8.
• Oakland County Park and Recreation’s Great Marshmallow Drop is 10 a.m.-noon, April 18, at Worden Park at Lexington Boulevard and Crooks Road in Royal Oak, (new location this year.) A helicopter will drop more than 15,000 fluffy marshmallows. There will be four drop zone groups. Three will begin at 10 a.m.: Ages 4 and younger; ages 5-7; and ages 8-12. A drop for individuals with disabilities of all ages will begin at 11 a.m. An American Sign Language interpreter will be available and the Quiet Zone tent will be on site. The event is not a competition; all participants ages 12 and younger and individuals with disabilities will receive a prize. Participants are encouraged to arrive early for parking. No preregistration required. Staff and volunteers will be on site to assist with parking, and to support the program, OaklandCountyParks.com.

• South Lyon Kiwanis Club Easter Egg Hunt is April 19, at 228 N. • Somerset Collection hops into spring with Easter Bunny and Enchanted Green House Experience, noon-6 p.m. April 5-19, with 15-minute breaks every 90 minutes. Guests can explore the Enchanted Garden and take photos with Hester Fairweather for $15, with proceeds benefiting local children’s charities. Each participant will receive a stuffed bunny and a coupon to use at Haagen-Dazs or Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, www.thesomersetcollection.com.
• Easter Bunny visits are from noon-6 p.m. April 12–13, and April 18–19, Oakland Mall, 412 W. 14 Mile Road, Troy. Families receive free digital photos with the Bunny, scan the QR code at the photo area and receive photo by email within 48–72 hours. The Bunny takes a 15-minute break every 90 minutes. • Village Egg Hunt is 4-7:30 p.m. April 11 (last admission at 6:50 p.m.) and 11 a.m.-3 p.m. April 12, (last admission at 2:20 p.m.) at the Troy Historic Village, 60 W.
