Good Bad Ugly box office collection day 7: Despite constant dips, legal notice, Ajith Kumar film is ruling theatres

Good Bad Ugly, the 2025 Tamil film starring Ajith Kumar in the lead role, has been having a solid run at theatres, with the film collection Rs 113 crore at the domestic box office in one week of its run. The action drama debuted in theatres seven days ago, on April 10.

Ajith Kumar, who is known for his films like Mankatha , Amarkalam and Dheena, paired up with director Adhik Ravichandran for the recently released Tamil film Good Bad Ugly. The film released on April 10, and following this, the Ajith-starrer has collected Rs 113 crore at the domestic box office, as per Sacnilk report. With a week since release, Good Bad Ugly has been witnessing a drop with every passing day and the collections amounting to single digit. As per Business Today, the overall worldwide collection stands at Rs 180 crore.

Good Bad Ugly is produced by Mythri Movie Makers in their foray into Tamil cinema. The film features a star-studded cast, including actors Trisha Krishnan, Usha Uthup, Rahul Dev, Kingsley, Roadies Raghu, Pradeep Kabra, Harry Josh, KGF Avinash, Yogi Babu, Prasanna, Prabhu, Priya Prakash, Simran, Tinnu Anand, Sayaji Shinde, Jackie Shroff, Sunil, Arjun Das and others.

What is Good Bad Ugly about?

The film features Ajith Kumar as AK aka Red Dragon, a gangster who lives a reformed life in jail. However, after his son is put in danger, AK has to go back to his old ways to punish those involved. Netflix has bagged the post theatrical streaming rights of the film. With music by GV Prakash Kumar, the camera is cranked by Abinandhan Ramanujam and Vijay Velukutty is the editor.

Good Bad Ugly opened to mixed reviews, with the common criticism being the film filled with references from Ajith’s previous films.
