Kim Woodburn's most famous line from the Celebrity Big Brother house
The TV star was known for her direct approach
TV star Kim Woodburn has died aged 83 after a "short illness". Her family shared the sad news in a statement this morning. Kim was famous for her role as a cleaning expert and TV personality.
She gained notoriety for her direct and sometimes confrontational approach to helping people clean their homes, this approach continued when she appeared on reality TV shows, making her an "icon" to many people. The popularity of the star increased after her appearance on the 2017 edition of Celebrity Big Brother.
Kim found herself temporarily removed from the Celebrity Big Brother house as a row broke out over who had the toughest life to date. The star finished in third place on the show, after entering the house on day 11.
A number of celebrities were involved in rows with Kim in the Big Brother house. One of the housemates she didn't see eye-to-eye with was model Nicola McLean.
In a spat with Nicola and former footballer Jamie O'Hara, Kim said: "You are the most two-faced people!", With Nicola then responding: "When I'm your age and when I'm a grandmother, I will be so disappointed if I ever behave like you! Go to the Diary Room and don't ever come back!'"
In the Diary Room, Kim said: "I haven't got a clue what this is all about. She [Nicola] is the mafia! The mafia won't break me dear. They're being nasty for no reason and they're picking on me."
The confrontation continued after leaving the Diary Room, she told Nicola and Bianca Gascoigne: "I'll cross you so badly and you'll regret it for the rest of your life! You want trouble and you'll get it!
"You will never get the better of me! Give up, you horrible horrible girl!" Jamie got involved as the argument heightened, as Kim shouted: "You're an absolute disgrace! You're a bunch of chinless wonders!"
In a heated row between Kim and Jamie, he told her: "You've come in here and you've picked on young girls! I wouldn't p**s on you if you were on fire!" to which she replied: "Well I wouldn't s**t on you, if you were on fire! You're an adulterer... you two-timed your wife and she’s got three kids!"
The original cleaning queen has always liked to 'flaunt it' as is evident from her modelling past in Liverpool. The How Clean Is Your House star was born in Portsmouth but later moved to Merseyside and is believed to have lived on Bagot Street in Wavertree.
Kim made no secret she appeared on CBB for the money and came third, with Coleen Nolan winning the show. The TV star grew up in Merseyside after moving from Portsmouth.
A statement from her family to announce her death said: "It is with immense sadness that we let you know our beloved Kim Woodburn passed away yesterday following a short illness. Kim was an incredibly kind, caring, charismatic and strong person. Her husband Peter is heartbroken at the loss of his soulmate.
