Whilst fans were mourning the loss of TV star Kim Woodburn on Tuesday morning following the news of her death, past comments on social media revealed they had one wish for the former Celebrity Big Brother star's career.

Kim rose to prominence on our screens with her co-presenter Aggie MacKenzie in the popular Channel 4 programme How Clean Is Your House? during the 2000s, and was renowned for her candid opinions across various television appearances. Kim passed away following a short battle with illness on Monday (June 16) aged 83, her family has confirmed.

Her television exploits spanned hit shows including I'm A Celebrity, Come Dine with Me, and The Chase, but her admirers always hankered for her in a specific other role it appears.

Writing on X in years goneby, one fan declared: "Kim Woodburn needs her own chat show where she gets into arguments with guests. TV genius." Supporting the notion, another enthused: "Kim Woodburn was brilliant could just imagine her with her own chat show, she would rip the guests to shreds."

A third person exclaimed: "Kim Woodburn should have her own chat show! Love that lady."Whilst a fourth fan envisioned the potential success: "Imagine if Kim Woodburn got a chat show. Oh, that would be better than Jeremy Kyle."

And echoing the sentiment, a fifth voiced: "I think she's absolutely fantastic, give her a chat show."

Following her passing, a representative for Kim shared in a statement: "It is with immense sadness that we let you know our beloved Kim Woodburn passed away yesterday following a short illness. Kim was an incredibly kind, caring, charismatic and strong person. Her husband Peter is heartbroken at the loss of his soulmate.

"We are so proud of the amazing things Kim achieved in her life and career. We kindly ask that Kim’s husband and close friends are given the time and privacy they need to grieve. We will not be releasing any further details.

Kim's final social media message came on Instagram on Valentine’s Day this year, where she offered to produce custom videos for her followers."Right my loves, the usual message, I know it's boring, but if I don't tell you, you'll forget, so open your lug holes," she began at the time. "The next time I'll be doing these videos is on Friday 21st February."

She continued: "I hope you're all ok and keeping well. Thanks so much for asking me to do these videos. They give me such a laugh, thank you very much."

However, in a tragic turn of events, a subsequent message on her account soon followed, whichread: "We regret to tell you that Kim is unable to record any more videos for the foreseeable future due to a health problem. She sends her love to you all."
